Ten Great Tablet Apps by Duck Duck Moose

Duck Duck Moose makes my favorite apps for our youngest students. Many are available for both iPad and Android tablets.

1. ChatterPix Kids

ChatterPix Kids is a fun photo editing app that allows you to "cut a mouth" on your photos, record your voice, and make anything talk. You can save the videos to your camera roll and upload them to your favorite learning management software to share with the class and/or parents.

2. Itsy Bitsy Spider

Itsy Bitsy Spider is a musical interactive ebook tells the story of the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Even our youngest learners can independently navigate this book and enjoy finding the hidden taps and swipes.

3. Old MacDonald

Old MacDonald is another musical interactive ebook. You can change the language to listen to it in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. 

4. Wheels on the Bus

Wheels on the Bus is another musical interactive ebook. All 3 ebooks mentioned here and above allow students to record their voice as they sing along.

5. Draw and Tell

Draw and Tell is a fun app that allows students to create artwork and record themselves. They can explain what they created, tell a story, and much more! Students can include stickers in their artwork and move them around as they record to create an animation.

6. Super Hero Comic Book Maker

Super Hero Comic Book Maker allows students to create stories that can be turned into animations. 

7. Princess Fairy Tale Maker

Princess Fairy Tale Maker is another interactive story maker that can be used to create animations.

8. Build a Truck

Build a Truck is a fun STEM themed-app where students put parts together to create and monster trucks. Great for Next Gen Science Standard 2-PS1-3!

9. Moose Math
