Ten Activities for a Holiday Party

Here are ten fun activities to use in place of your traditional classroom holiday party this year.

1. Make a Snowman

Your students will select and drag the images they want in order to dress the snowman. There are two files available, one in Jamboard for Google Classroom users and the other in Seesaw. In Seesaw, your students will also be able to work on their Speaking & Listening standards as they record themselves telling about the snowman they designed. If your students are using the Jamboard and you want to hit on the Speaking & Listening standards, you might teach them to create screencasts by using software like Screencastify.

Jamboard Activity: Give each student a copy instead of having them share one Jamboard. You may copy my link to share directly with your students since it automatically forces a copy.
